Midsize firm McNees Wallace & Nurick let go of its entire HR department in September amid the firm’s effort to sell its Harrisburg office, the largest by employee count, for almost $11 million.

Within the last two months, the firm cut the 2.5 full-time equivalent positions that made up the entirety of firm’s HR department before adding six new positions to a rebranded team, explained firm chair Brian Jackson.
