A federal judge in Pennsylvania has awarded a former employee nearly $500,000—including $200,000 in punitive damages—after her employer was found to have severely sexually harassed and assaulted her.

In a Oct. 5 opinion, U.S. District Judge Kelley Brisbon Hodge of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania awarded plaintiff Lori Allain nearly $490,319.14 in damages against her former employer, Mark D. Miller.
