Opinions from the Commonwealth Court released Thursday reveal that the court has split 2-2 on the question of whether the Pennsylvania House of Representatives failed to provide enough substance to support its efforts to impeach Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner.

On Dec. 30, the court issued an order determining, among other things, that the articles of impeachment against Krasner failed to raise any legitimate allegations of “misbehavior in office.” The court did not offer its reasoning at that time.
