AutoZone, Chewy and Michaels Stores were hit with three separate digital privacy class action lawsuits Wednesday in Pennsylvania Middle District Court. The suits, filed by Marcus & Zelman, centers on the retailer’s alleged use of ‘session replay’ software to track detailed user activity on its website. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The cases are 1:22-cv-01433, Farst v. Michaels Stores, Inc.; 1:22-cv-01434, Farst v. Chewy, Inc., and 1:22-cv-01435, Farst v. Autozone, Inc.
