What is my obligation as a judge to report conduct of a judicial officer or of a lawyer who has a case before me?
The answer is found in the Pennsylvania Code of Judicial Conduct under Rule 2.15. Rule 2.15 went into effect in July 2014. Before that, under the old Code of Judicial Conduct in Pennsylvania, a judge had to report any misconduct.
