The director of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Philadelphia regional office has taken a job at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius as a partner and co-leader of the firm’s securities enforcement practice.

“It’s a great time for me to take my experience at the SEC and return to private practice,” said Kelly Gibson, who concluded a 14-year tenure at the commission Feb. 11 and plans to start at the firm in May. “The strength of its bench in the securities practice area was really attractive to me.”
