I will immediately date myself when I say this has been a “Calgon, take me away!” kind of week.
On Monday, a long-standing client emailed me in a panic: After weeks of unreturned emails and vague promises to “get him some slides,” the co-panelist for an upcoming speaking event had finally gotten back to him—with new ideas about the direction of the presentation, slides that didn’t fit with the original, agreed-upon topic, and an expectation that they would engage in a rousing and entertaining mock deal negotiation for their audience. Could I please help? Oh, and by the way, the CLE is Friday.
