On June 28, 2017, plaintiff Timothy Hartman, 30, a deliveryman, was driving on a street in Montgomery County, intending to make a delivery in the course and scope of his employment. He claimed that while he was on his way to the delivery destination, he and a motorist, Nateisha Sewell, got into a verbal altercation that led to Sewell assaulting him. He claimed hand injuries.
