A coalition of 21 attorneys general have joined together in an amicus brief filed with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit asking judges to block enforcement of the latest abortion ban—this one in South Carolina.

“I’m joining a coalition of 21 AGs arguing that South Carolina’s abortion regulations harm women — and should be struck down,” Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro said in a Sept. 8 Tweet. “The people who should be involved in these decisions are: Women[.] Their Doctors[.] End of list.”
