Following is a listing of executive and legislative action from the week of July 12. Both houses of the General Assembly were on their summer break at press time. The Pennsylvania Senate was scheduled to return to session Sept. 20. The state House of Representatives was set to come back Sept. 27.

Gaming Oversight

Gov. Tom Wolf announced the appointment of Nedia Ralston to the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) on July 14. Ralston most recently served as director of the Southeast Regional Office for the Pennsylvania state government. Wolf also announced that Commissioner Denise Smyler will become chairwoman following the retirement of David Barasch.
