Around 300 Fox Rothschild legal assistants were offered voluntary separation packages last month as part of a firmwide staffing realignment that is slated to go into effect June 21, the Philadelphia-based Am Law 100 firm confirmed Thursday.

Professionals who were eligible for the voluntary separation package were selected based on the firm’s decision that their positions were most vulnerable to incoming changes to the firm’s staffing model, according to Jean Durling, the firm’s chief talent officer.
