The debate over whether witnesses can use so-called comfort animals during trial is set to highlight the Pennsylvania Supreme Court’s upcoming oral argument session, which will also include arguments over the role pharmacies can play in insurance utilization reviews and the proper use of the statute of limitation deadlines as a defense in estate cases.

The argument session, which is set to take place April 13 and 14, focuses on cases that arose out of western Pennsylvania. The justices are also set to live stream the arguments over YouTube.
