Lawyers from the now-closed personal injury firm Williams Cuker Berezofsky cannot escape claims of legal malpractice filed by a Philadelphia woman, who alleges the firm counseled her to enter a settlement that kept her from pursuing other litigation.

The case, Khalil v. Williams, was remanded back to trial court Tuesday. The Superior Court reversed the lower court’s decision to dismiss claims of fraudulent misrepresentation and negligence against the defendant lawyers.
