Like most courts across the country, Pennsylvania’s Commonwealth Court has had to rely on video streaming technology to hold argument sessions over the past few months, but incoming President Judge P. Kevin Brobson says he is hopeful the court will be able to restore in-person arguments early on in his tenure.
Brobson, who has been on the specialty appellate court bench for more than a decade, is set to begin a five-year term as the administrative head of the court starting Jan. 4. He takes over the role from Judge Mary Hannah Leavitt, and will oversee budgeting, office administration, scheduling, special sessions, education and bench-bar interactions.
