Signaling an end to a high-profile attempt to undo the results of the presidential election in Pennsylvania, the U.S. Supreme Court has declined to take up a lawsuit filed by U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly, R-Pennsylvania, which sought to halt certification of the election and ultimately invalidate all mail-in votes in the state.

The decision comes the same day that Pennsylvania state officials have been scheduled to certify the results of the Nov. 3 election. The decision marks the first post-election lawsuit from Pennsylvania that the U.S. Supreme Court has ruled on.
