A legal malpractice lawsuit, which claimed a slip up by attorneys at Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney’s Miami office caused a client to shoulder $1.2 million in attorney fees and costs, has ended with a confidential settlement.
The lawsuit alleged lawyers misinterpreted the terms of amended note and mortgage loan documents after the original lender, Ocean Bank, transferred them to CND Group LLC. The defendants, on the other hand, argued their former client was to blame.
