The former chief public defender for a southwestern Pennsylvania county may proceed with his age discrimination claims after he was disciplined and ultimately fired by county officials.
Fayette County officials said they dismissed Jeffrey Whiteko for, among other reasons, allegedly exacerbating conditions leading to a 2018 shooting at a magistrate courthouse by over-scheduling cases at the facility.
