Unlike Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, central Pennsylvania law firms with more than 100 attorneys are few and far between. Central Pennsylvania-based Barley Snyder, now with 103 lawyers, has grown in recent years in part by acquiring groups of attorneys and staff from small firms.
The firm’s latest addition is a new office in Schuylkill County, its northernmost location yet, where it has brought on lawyers David Rattigan and Michael Fox from Williamson, Friedberg & Jones. It’s the fourth new market for Barley Snyder since 2017, and its 10th location firmwide. The firm has eight offices in Pennsylvania and two “virtual offices” in Maryland, managing partner Jeffrey Lobach said.
