Practice Profile: Johns practices antitrust law and litigation. He represents U.S. and international clients in a variety of high-stakes complex commercial matters. Johns represents companies across a broad range of industries, including financial services, pharmaceutical, food manufacturing, consumer products, aviation and building products. Leadership Activity: Johns is a contributing member of the health care industry initiative where he is responsible for growing health care work through client development across targeted sectors; he serves as a member of the lateral associate integration committee helping to make new lateral associates feel welcome and integrating them into the firm. He is an associate mentor to four recent hires in the antitrust practice group and he spearheaded the concept and launch of the firm’s “Well Done” blog with the goal to showcase the collaboration across practice groups as well as litigation capabilities for prospective clients. Pro Bono and Civic Work: Johns represented Samuel Andom in his petition for asylum from his native country of Eritrea. He represents clients in the citizenship application process. He represents an Iraqi citizen seeking a special immigration visa (SIV) to enter and live in the United States and he provides advice on “Legal Line” calls to artists with legal questions who cannot afford to consult with an attorney.
