Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young raised over $3,000 during MANNA's annual “Pie in the Sky” Thanksgiving fundraiser. The money raised goes directly toward preparing and delivering Thanksgiving dinners for people at acute nutritional risk from a life-threatening illness such as cancer, chronic kidney disease, HIV/AIDS and more.

Friedman Schuman announced that Christian Suprenuk joined the firm.
Suprenuk brings with him 20 years of experience in handling complex commercial litigation and a variety of business transactional matters.
Suprenuk will be working with the firm's medical malpractice, personal injury and commercial litigation departments. He also has employment counseling and litigation experience.
Prior to joining Friedman Schuman, Suprenuk managed all aspects of the commercial litigation practice at a boutique business law firm, where he represented individuals and business owners through mediation, arbitration and litigation in state and federal courts, including bankruptcy court and before administrative agencies.
Suprenuk is a graduate of the Villanova University School of Law.

Mark J. LeWinter of Raynes Lawn Hehmeyer recently delivered a continuing legal education presentation for the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association.
The program, titled “Trial Technology for All Types of Cases,” covered how attorneys can more effectively use and maximize the benefits of technology in depositions and in front of a jury.
The event was held as part of the PTLA's “Luncheon Lecture” series, held monthly, where attendees receive 1 CLE credit in various areas of practice.
LeWinter represents victims of injury—largely in unsafe product and workplace accidents. He has lectured at more than 100 seminars on products liability issues as well as the use of demonstrative evidence and technology in the courtroom for such organizations as the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, Pennsylvania Association for Justice and the America Association of Justice.
He currently serves on the national board of the American Board of Trial Advocates.

Attorneys from A&O Shearman has stepped in as defense counsel for Toronto-Dominion Bank and other defendants in a pending securities class action. The suit, filed Dec. 11 in New York Southern District Court by Bleichmar Fonti & Auld, accuses the defendants of concealing the bank's 'pervasive' deficiencies in regards to its compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and the quality of its anti-money laundering controls. Crown Castle International, a Pennsylvania company providing shared communications infrastructure, has turned to Luke D. Wolf of Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani to fend off a pending breach-of-contract lawsuit. The court action, filed Nov. 25 in Michigan Eastern District Court by Hooper Hathaway PC on behalf of The Town Residences LLC, accuses Crown Castle of failing to transfer approximately $30,000 in utility payments from T-Mobile in breach of a roof-top lease and assignment agreement. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Susan K. Declercq, is 2:24-cv-13131, The Town Residences LLC v. T-Mobile US, Inc. et al.
