A federal grand jury has charged former Schuylkill County Clerk of Courts Steven M. Lukach Jr. with misappropriating court funds and obstructing an investigation into his activity, the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Harrisburg announced Monday.
Lukach, 68, of Nesquehoning, was indicted on 20 counts of mail and wire fraud and manufacturing records to obstruct an investigation, according to a statement from U.S. Attorney David J. Freed of the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
