Steven A. Hann spoke at the Pennsylvania Municipal Authorities Association’s board member training sessions in Camp Hill and Breinigsville and moderated the solicitor’s panel at both sessions.

PMAA is the statewide organization representing the interests of municipal authorities in the state.

Hann is a principal at the Pennsylvania law firm of Hamburg, Rubin, Mullin, Maxwell & Lupin, where he focuses his practice on environmental and municipal law, and chairs the firm’s environmental law department.

Furia Rubel Communications Inc. president and CEO, Gina Rubel, presented “Law Firm Differentiation to Stand Out and Grow” for International Society of Primerus Law Firms members.

During this program, Rubel taught attorneys how to differentiate their boutique law firms, how to identify their unique differentiators, and how to harness the necessary tools to communicate a firm’s differentiating factors, all to boost client retention and acquisition.

Rubel founded Furia Rubel Marketing and Public Relations, a strategic planning and integrated marketing agency, in 2002.

Rubel teaches audiences nationwide how to implement ethical, integrated and measurable communication strategies that help their organizations to meet their business objectives.

Elected and Appointed

Blank Rome associate John P. Sullivan Jr. was elected as the 22nd president of the Brehon Law Society for a two-year term, after serving as treasurer since 2016.

Founded in 1976, the Brehon Law Society is a professional association that fosters the profession of law among individuals of Irish ancestry, and provides a forum for educational, cultural and social activities concerning Irish heritage and tradition.

At Blank Rome, Sullivan concentrates his practice on intellectual property issues related to new technologies, brand development and strategy, and internet presence, including the growth and enforcement of brands on social media and in online marketplaces.

Flaster Greenberg’s managing shareholder Alan H. Zuckerman was elected to serve as director of the Atlantic/Cape May Chapter of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountant, effective June 1.

A tax attorney and certified public accountant, Zuckerman has a business practice with a concentration in taxation, business and corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions (involving both public and privately held companies), health care, and estate planning and administration.

He is also a member of the firm’s board of directors.

Zuckerman received his J.D. from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law.
