Fox Rothschild's Philadelphia litigation department came together this holiday season to support Cradles to Crayons.
Items collected during the event benefited the organization, whose mission is to make life better for the more than 300,000 children in Greater Philadelphia living in poverty.
Additions
Attorney Brian T. Newman joined Rubin, Glickman, Steinberg & Gifford as an associate.
Newman graduated from Temple University's Beasley School of Law in 2017.
His practice focuses on criminal defense, civil litigation, landlord-tenant and consumer protection and collections law.
Prior to joining Rubin Glickman, Newman served as a law clerk for the firm for one-and-a-half years.
Prior thereto, he was a judicial intern for Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Judge Holly J. Ford and served as an intern for the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office.
Newman is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and Montgomery County Bar Association.

Kaplin Stewart Meloff Reiter & Stein hired Daniel P. Rowley as a member of the land use, zoning and development department.
Prior to joining Kaplin Stewart, Rowley was an associate in the casualty litigation department at Margolis Edelstein in Philadelphia.
Rowley concentrates his practice in the areas of zoning, land use and development of commercial, residential and industrial real estate.
He graduated from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law with a law degree.
Elected and Appointed
Chamberlain, Hrdlicka, White, Williams & Aughtry's Matthew S. Olesh was elected assistant treasurer to the board of governors of the Philadelphia Bar Association and Jennifer Weidler Karpchuk was appointed as secretary of the Philadelphia Bar Association tax section's state and local tax (SALT) committee.
Olesh focuses his practice on a wide array of litigation.
In addition to business litigation, he handles matters involving antitrust, bankruptcy, class actions, corporate governance, employment, environmental compliance and litigation, insurance, international law and business disputes, real estate and white-collar compliance and defense.
Karpchuk represents clients in various matters related to state and local taxation.
Her clients include those challenging audit determinations and real estate assessment decisions, seeking refunds from state and local governments, handling administrative appeals, litigating unresolved disputes in state and local courts, and handling post-trial appeals.

J. Brugh Lower of Gibbons has entered an appearance for industrial equipment supplier Devco Corporation in a pending trademark infringement lawsuit. The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota. Attorneys from A&O Shearman has stepped in as defense counsel for Toronto-Dominion Bank and other defendants in a pending securities class action. The suit, filed Dec. 11 in New York Southern District Court by Bleichmar Fonti & Auld, accuses the defendants of concealing the bank's 'pervasive' deficiencies in regards to its compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and the quality of its anti-money laundering controls. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian, is 1:24-cv-09445, Gonzalez v. The Toronto-Dominion Bank et al.

Crown Castle International, a Pennsylvania company providing shared communications infrastructure, has turned to Luke D. Wolf of Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani to fend off a pending breach-of-contract lawsuit. The court action, filed Nov. 25 in Michigan Eastern District Court by Hooper Hathaway PC on behalf of The Town Residences LLC, accuses Crown Castle of failing to transfer approximately $30,000 in utility payments from T-Mobile in breach of a roof-top lease and assignment agreement. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Susan K. Declercq, is 2:24-cv-13131, The Town Residences LLC v. T-Mobile US, Inc. et al.

Wilfred P. Coronato and Daniel M. Schwartz of McCarter & English have stepped in as defense counsel to Electrolux Home Products Inc. in a pending product liability lawsuit.
