Kevin Carter joined Goldberg, Miller & Rubin as an associate in the Philadelphia office.
He focuses his work primarily on the defense of clients in general liability, automotive negligence, uninsured/underinsured motorist and premises liability cases.
Prior to joining Goldberg Miller, Carter was a judicial law clerk for Bucks County Court of Common Pleas Judge Gary B. Gilman.
He also gained experience as a law clerk at a Philadelphia litigation firm, contributing to all aspects of litigation in wide-ranging commercial matters, premises liability and employment cases.

Events

Widener University will partner with the National Constitution Center for a program that explores the intersection of free speech and civil discourse in modern America.
“The First Amendment: Finding Common Ground in a Polarized World,” is set to take place Nov. 14 at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia.
The panel discussion's scheduled speakers include Widener president Dr. Julie E. Wollman and Widener University Delaware Law School Dean Rodney Smolla, with National Constitution Center president and CEO Jeffrey Rosen serving as moderator.
Wollman will discuss her role as a university president who is intent on honoring all voices and finding common ground, at a time when polarization has affected multiple colleges and universities across the country.
Smolla will explore the free speech implications of the First Amendment, and the differences between what is illegal versus what is distasteful public speech.
After the panel discussion, which will include time for questions, attendees will break up into small groups arranged on the Constitution Center overlook.

Weisberg Law's Matthew Weisberg was appointed general counsel to Always Best Care-Philadelphia and Delaware.
Weisberg primarily practices in the areas of consumer, employment and civil rights, commercial litigation, attorney and business liabilities and real estate litigation.
Prior to joining Weisberg Law, Weisberg practiced with Weber Gallagher Simpson Stapleton Fires & Newby where he focused on general liability defense and commercial foreclosures.
At McCabe, Weisberg & Conway, Weisberg represented large, primarily subprime lenders and investors in residential mortgage foreclosure and lender liability-related litigation.
