Baker McKenzie has hired Luis Gomar, an energy transactions lawyer who does cross-border work in Mexico and Latin America, from Thompson & Knight.
Gomar, who joined the firm earlier this month as a partner based in Houston as part of the North America corporate and securities practice, said he was attracted by Baker McKenzie’s extensive network of offices and the needs of his clients.
