Cody Carper has joined the Houston office of Willkie Farr & Gallagher as a partner. An oil and gas attorney, Carper advises clients on a wide range of complex energy transactions, including the formation of joint ventures, drilling partnerships and other joint development arrangements as well as the acquisition and divestiture of upstream and midstream oil and gas assets and companies.
Phillip Sharp has joined Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz as a shareholder in the firm’s Houston office and member of its business litigation group. He has first-chair jury trial experience in cases ranging from breach of contract and fraud lawsuits to fiduciary cases to catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death claims.
