Denis Braham, a shareholder in Winstead’s Houston office and the firm’s chairman emeritus, has been appointed to the Mayor’s International Advisory Council in Houston. Mayor Sylvester Turner assembled the group to help the City of Houston coordinate efforts of internal and external groups to improve the city’s global standing and attract international business to the city.
New Positions
Robert S. Hill has joined the Dallas office of Holland & Knight as a partner. Hill focuses his practice on intellectual property litigation, representing plaintiffs and defendant in complex patent cases involving a wide variety of technologies. Among things, Hill also has expertise advising clients on intellectual property transactional issues. Jacob J. Lawler has joined the firm’s Austin office as an associate. Lawler, a former attorney at the Public Utility Commission of Texas, focuses his practice on electric utility matters.
