Following a two-day mediation, lawyers for South Texas College of Law Houston and the University of Houston Law Center have negotiated a tentative settlement in a trademark infringement suit UH filed against the law school over a name change.
South Texas, located in downtown Houston, announced the tentative settlement Thursday afternoon, following a mediation on Tuesday and Wednesday. Lynne Liberato, a partner at Haynes and Boone in Houston who represents South Texas, declined to comment.
