The number of new associates starting work this fall at the largest firms in Texas is flat compared with 2014, but there are more women and minorities among them.
A total of 270 associates started work this fall at 21 of the 25 firms with the most lawyers in Texas, compared with 269 in the fall of 2014. But 121 of the new associates are women, compared with 111 last year, and 58 are minorities, compared with 50 in 2014.
