McDermott Will & Emery expanded its Dallas office on June 1 with the addition of six partners, all formerly from K&L Gates’ Dallas office, who do mergers and acquisitions or technology and outsourcing work.
David Guedry, one of the lateral hires who is now the partner-in-charge of McDermott’s Dallas office, said that he expected as many as nine associates to join them at McDermott shortly, but he could not identify any of those lawyers. That would more than double the size of McDermott’s Dallas office, which had nine lawyers before this week’s lateral hiring.
