The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit denied Transocean’s request to rehear the case in which the court upheld five administrative subpoenas that the U.S. Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board issued against Transocean Deepwater Drilling following the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in 2010.

The justices voted 9-6 denying the petition for rehearing en banc, according to the March 12 order.
