From the time Danielle Holley-Walker was 7 years old, she knew she wanted to be a lawyer like her father. She fulfilled that dream, but she also took it a step further by becoming a law school dean just like her father, Dannye Holley.

Since July, Holley-Walker, who grew up in The Woodlands, has been dean of the Howard University School of Law in Washington, D.C. Her father, Dannye, has been dean of Texas Southern University, Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston since 2010.
