Six women are among the 50 Texas general counsel on the short list of best-paid executives at their companies, according to Texas Lawyer‘s annual Corporate Roster.

The six women GCs are on the Texas’ Best-Paid General Counsel chart. Their compensation is reported in proxy statements and 10-k reports listing the five highest-paid executives at each company. One of the six, Kim Bowers, has since become chairman, CEO and president of CST Brands Inc. in San Antonio.
