Texas Lawyer‘s editorial department is pleased to announce the winners of our first annual Legal Departments of the Year awards. We have selected corporate legal departments from Texas-based companies that stand out in six specific categories of achievement.
The awards bestowed are not based on scorecards or data-driven metrics but rather on success stories: how a corporate counsel’s office came up with innovative programs, used ingenuity to solve problems or surmounted a scarcity of resources while still delivering high quality client service. The winners will be honored at an awards reception on Dec. 12 in Houston.
