A three-judge panel of the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals now holds the key to a pot of insurance company money sought by lawyers defending R. Allen Stanford and three other former Stanford Financial Group executives from criminal charges and civil litigation.
On Feb. 25, the panel heard oral arguments in Laura Pendergest-Holt, et al. v. Certain Underwriters at Lloyd’s of London, et al. , an insurance coverage dispute filed by former SFG Chairman Stanford and three other former SFG executives.
