What You Need to Know

The State Bar of Texas January disciplinary report addressed nine attorneys either suspended or reprimanded.
Two of the suspensions involved out-of-state lawyers and involved reciprocal actions.
One attorney received three concurrent suspensions related to negligence in capital murder and post-conviction criminal matters.

Nine disciplinary cases involving attorneys, two from out of state, were reported in the State Bar of Texas disciplinary report for January.

Six cases concluded with suspensions, and three with public reprimands.
