Blank Rome opened an office in Dallas, its second in Texas, and hired seven Dallas lawyers from four firms who have corporate, real estate and finance practices, as Big Law firms continue to expand in the Lone Star State.

Grant Palmer, chair and managing partner of Philadelphia-founded Blank Rome, said Dallas has been a strategic priority for the Am Law 100 firm for several years because of the number of clients the firm has in North Texas, including private equity firms, commercial banks, family offices and nonbank financial institutions.
