Texas House Rep. Tom Craddick resubmitted a bad-faith washout bill for the oil and gas industry and mineral lease holders that passed unanimously through the last legislative session only to be vetoed.

Speaking this week before the House Judiciary & Civil Jurisprudence Committee, the former House speaker suggested Gov. Greg Abbott somehow did not understand that the Texas Judicial Branch had been wanting a legislative remedy for an issue that has been an open question in the courts for decades.
