"As the company’s general counsel, its first and still only in-house attorney, and a member of the executive leadership team, gaining [its] trust resulted in broader influence, substantive risk mitigation, and the ability to maximize opportunities for the company," she said. "That trust was tested shortly after joining Black Mountain Sand in July 2020 in the middle of a hotly contested commercial litigation matter in which the company was the plaintiff and cross-defendant."
