A Maryland-licensed attorney was disbarred by the state’s high court last week after he self-disclosed that his Texas license had been canceled for his dishonesty on his bar application regarding other disciplinary matters.

Edward A. Malone, a solo practitioner admitted to the Maryland and Virginia bars in 1999, along with several U.S. District Courts, sought admission in the State of Texas after relocating to there to care for his elderly mother and terminally-ill brother, the lawyer told Law.com Wednesday.
