U.S. District Judge Esther Salas, whose son was killed by a man targeting her at her New Jersey home, said malice and misinformation directed at the magistrate judge who signed the search warrant for Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home creates a “real, clear and present danger.”

“I’m very concerned. I think that judges are vulnerable. Judges need protection. … We see some pretty horrific things being said on the internet against this magistrate judge who just happened to be on duty, and who happened to have to make a legal determination based on the law,” Salas said. “We’re talking about a real, clear and present danger.”
