A Polk County prosecutor, Beverly Armstrong, is vying to move into a Harris County criminal court bench, but she must defeat local criminal defense lawyer Kimberly McTorry in the Democratic Party runoff for the 208th District Court.
Judge Greg Glass, the incumbent, was eliminated in a March 1 primary that saw Armstrong take a commanding lead with 44.95% of the vote. McTorry captured a 38.8% share.
