Only Half of Test-Takers Passed the February Texas Bar Exam

The pass rate for the February 2022 Texas Bar Examination was 50.3%, well below the pass rates for the July 2021 and February 2021 exams.

What You Need to Know

The pass rate for the February 2022 Texas Bar Examination was 50.3% for first-time test-takers.
The pass rate was lower than the July 2021 and February 2021 exams.
Texas A&M University School of Law posted the highest pass rate among Texas law schools.

The overall pass rate for the February 2022 Texas Bar Exam was 50.3%, well below the 68.3% overall pass rate for the July 2021 exam and the 61.6% pass rate for the February 2021 exam.

Still, the February pass rate was better than the 40.1% pass rate for a special exam given in March 2021.
