Big Law firms are hiring lawyers in practices including bankruptcy, health care, litigation, capital markets, IP and banking an financial institutions.
Client needs are prompting many of the moves.

Big Law firms have been on a hiring binge in April in Texas, adding partners in bankruptcy, health care, intellectual property, litigation, capital markets, and banking and financial services.

K&L Gates, Jackson Walker, King & Spalding, Hunton Andrews Kurth and Shearman & Sterling each hired lateral partners in Texas over the last week, as the active hiring market in Texas shows no signs of slowing down.
