The Hon. Kyle Carter, judge of the 125th District Court in Harris County has been awarded the 2021 Public Service Award by his alma mater South Texas College of Law Houston for his significant and sustained accomplishments as a district judge, as well as his service outside the courthouse, both to the judiciary and to the community. He has also received the Outstanding Judicial Leadership Award for leadership, dedication and service to the Texas Association of District Judges and to the state of Texas.

“Judge Carter is a true credit to his profession, our judicial system and our law school,” said Mary-Olga Lovett, senior vice president of Greenberg Traurig and the alumna of STCL, who nominated Carter for the award.
