California continues to be a top destination for in-house lawyers lured by high salaries and stock awards, according to Corporate Counsel’s 2021 GC Compensation Report.
In its analysis of legal leader compensation throughout the Fortune 1000, ALM found that in California, the average legal executive salary was $617,280, well over the $553,406 national average.
