Shedding a Confederacy-connected name, the Dallas Bar Association board of directors voted to change the name of the bar’s headquarters building from Belo Mansion to Arts District Mansion.
The mansion was built more than a century ago by Confederate Army officer A.H. Belo, who was a founder of the Dallas Morning News in Dallas.
