Immigration powerhouse Berry Appleman & Leiden has brought on a team led by the longtime leader of Jackson Lewis’ Austin office, a move sparked by the firm’s recognition that there’s a gap to fill in the booming Texas capital.
Maggie Murphy, who had been a shareholder with Jackson Lewis for the last decade, has joined Berry Appleman with two associates, as well as several staffers, giving her new firm a total of 15 attorneys and staff in the city.
