For the first time since March 2020, a district court in Austin has called a case for an in-person jury trial.
Compared to other large counties in Texas, Travis County is late to the game of resuming in-person jury trials. Harris County has been holding them since the fall of 2020, and both Dallas and Bexar counties resumed in-person jury trials in June.
