Real EstateIn a case that Austin trial lawyer Bill Reid described as his baby, a Dallas court has ordered Credit Suisse to pay $121.2 million to Reid's client in a dispute stemming from a major real estate transaction just before the housing market crashed in 2008.
Reid, a member of Reid Collins & Tsai in Austin, was so close to the case that over the past eight years he represented the client before the trial court, intermediate appellate court and the Texas Supreme Court.
